Let's Be Real —
Finding Your Therapist Is All About

The Vibes

You might be a great fit for EMDR therapy with me if...

  • You want therapy that feels collaborative, not clinical.

  • You're curious about how your past continues to shape your present.

  • You're looking for an LGBTQ+ affirming, body-neutral therapist who values inclusivity and creates a space where you can show up authentically.

  • You're open to EMDR therapy and exploring the patterns that keep showing up in your life.

  • You value a therapist who is warm, relational, and maintains healthy boundaries.

If this sounds like your kind of space, we're likely a good fit.

My Approach to Therapy

While every person's story is different, my work is grounded in these approaches:

EMDR Therapy
EMDR therapy is often the foundation of my work. My approach is attachment-focused and somatically informed, helping people process experiences that feel stuck, overwhelming, or difficult to move beyond so they can experience greater clarity, connection, and freedom.

Attachment-Focused Therapy

Many of our struggles make sense when we understand them through the lens of relationships. Together, we'll explore patterns that developed in response to past experiences and work toward healthier, more secure connections with yourself and others.

IFS-Informed Parts Work

Sometimes different parts of us want different things. Parts work helps us approach those experiences with curiosity rather than judgment, creating space for greater self-understanding, compassion, and healing.

*Depending on your goals, therapy may also incorporate sandtray, somatic interventions, mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches to support healing.

Therapy Can Help If You're Experiencing:

  • Growing up with emotionally immature, inconsistent, or unavailable caregivers

  • Single-incident trauma, including accidents, assaults, medical trauma, loss, or other overwhelming experiences

  • Flashbacks, nightmares, or intrusive memories that feel difficult to shake

  • Repeating relationship patterns that feel hard to understand or change

  • Anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, or chronic people-pleasing

  • Lingering shame, guilt, or self-criticism

Therapy here is: collaborative, strengths-based, and paced for you. Together we'll build on what's already working, explore what feels stuck, and move toward meaningful change.

I work with adults throughout Raleigh, Cary, Chapel Hill, Durham, Charlotte, and across North Carolina through secure telehealth services.
